2011-12 season

PARENTS' Meeting Wednesday, November 30 6p.m. in the Media Center
this is usually a short meeting.



We are in the 4A-3A class for schools and are listed in the South for a region.
What this means- the regions were realigned because Montgomery County has joined the State program. Our region seems fairly balanced. Huntingtown is in our region is the only other SMAC school. We are in with many PG county schools.

We will swim all the SMAC schools for our regular season. The swimmers who attend the SMAC Championship Meet will probably going to the Regional Meet where will will see Eleanor Roosevelt High School and Bowie( 2 very strong programs.) We will also see High Point, Laurel
Northwastern, Oxon Hill , Parkdale and Suitland. I think, this is all very good news!

Swim Meet December 7,2011

Both teams defeated Thomas Stone last night. Ben Lawless broke his school record in the 500 free by over 10 seconds. All the swimmers are off to a great start. We have our first home meet on Friday. Workers are asked to be on deck by 4:30. Finally, thanks to all the parents who worked our first meet.
